Franck Ribery is an international football player, playing for Bayern Munich. He is a winger and known for his speed, skills, energy, and precise passing. Ribery began his football career in 1989 as a youth player for Conti Boulogne. After several years of playing in the amateurs, he was recruited by the Galatasaray football team in Turkey. He helped the team win the 2005 Turkish Cup. After 6 months, he moved back to France and played for Marseille. He played for the football club for two seasons and led his team to participate in the final of Coupe de France in two consecutive seasons. Ribery has represented France at the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups as well as two UFEA European Football Championships in 2008 and 2012. Ribery has won the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award and was ranked as the 4th best football player in the world by The Guardian’s lists.
