In 2013, Yael Stone, an Australian-New York resident, played the role of prisoner Lorna Morello in the movie “Orange Is the New Black.” This served as his stepping stone and also the time when she became famous to various movie producers.
She completed her study in NIDA. At a very young age, Stone has been blessed to work with some prominent and premiere storytellers in Australia, visionaries, and luminaries behind the scenes in television, theatre and movie.
She enjoys a good movie career in her hometown. A constant partnership with Niel Armfield, an Australian much laude movie and TV director, concluded in the world renowned project Diary of a Madman, wherein she starred opposed to Geoffrey Rush, a Tony and Academy-Emmy award winning actor. She found her sanctuary in New York City when the production played to significant acclaim at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. She is a co-developer of The Cannery.
