Gwendoline Christie spent her childhood years at Hamlet in South Downs, England. During her younger years, she enrolled in gymnast. However, after an injury in spinal column, she decided to leave that career and took up acting lesson instead.
She completed her acting lesson in 2005 in Drama Centre London and stays in the city for so many years. Her remarkable height, 6’3, motivated Polly Borland, a renowned photographer to make her the model of some noted sequence of photographs.
Christie was included in the 2012 “Game of Thrones,” a successful HBO television adaptation wherein she plays the character of Brienne of Tarth. She also had been hosen to play the character of Commander Lyme in the Hunger Games Movies, Mockingjay Part 1 and the Mockingjay Part 2 to be shown early next year. She is also included in the big budgeted movie “Stars Wars: Episode VII,” which will be available next year as well.
